About

Ahad Nawaz

Founder of Reivex.io and a full-stack engineer with 5+ years shipping production systems. I take products from idea to launch: gamified platforms for international clients, a country's first online marketplace, ERP and HR suites in production across dozens of companies, and AI-powered automation. 100+ products delivered for around 50 companies. I run the build and run the business.

Background

Professional story

  1. I'm a full-stack engineer and the founder of Reivex.io. Reivex is the studio I'd want to hire if I were a founder looking for a partner: senior people who own the outcome, not a queue waiting on tickets.

  2. I built Liberia's first online marketplace. Alongside it: gamified real estate platforms for US clients, ERP and HR suites running inside dozens of companies, iOS apps live on the App Store, and AI automation doing work that used to be manual. Five years, a hundred-plus products delivered for around fifty companies.

  3. I take work from first scope to launch. I clarify requirements, design the architecture, write the code, and stay on it after release. I optimise for maintainability, because the code outlives the engagement and someone always inherits it.

  4. On the business side I scope the work, run the engagement, and answer for it. Clients keep their repositories, cloud accounts, and IP from day one, so there is nothing to unpick if you bring the work in-house later. If you're weighing a technical partner or scoping a build, that's the conversation I'm best in.

Team leadership

Led engineering teams of up to 15 developers across client and in-house work.

Speaking

Speaker at local tech meetups on enterprise architecture and AI integration.

In-house products

Five products built in-house at Reivex and currently running.

Method

How an engagement runs

Six commitments, in the order they happen. Each one is something you can hold me to rather than a value statement.

  1. Scope before code

Requirements, integrations, and the parts most likely to explode get pinned down in writing before anything is estimated.

  2. One owner end to end

Architecture, implementation, and deployment sit with the same person, so nothing is lost in a handoff between vendors.

  3. Ship in increments

Working software in front of you early and often, rather than a single reveal at the end that is too late to redirect.

  4. Write the reasoning down

Decisions land in the repository next to the code, so the next engineer inherits the thinking and not just the result.

  5. Own the infrastructure transfer

Repositories, cloud accounts, domains, and credentials are in your name from day one, with no lock-in to unpick later.

  6. Say the hard thing early

If an estimate is slipping or an approach is wrong, you hear it while there is still room to act on it.

Right now

Where my attention is

Three things I am deliberately spending time on, and why each one is interesting rather than just current.

  1. Enterprise systems that outlive the engagement

ERP, HR, and operations platforms running inside real companies. The interesting problem is not the first release, it is designing something a team can still change three years later without fear.

  2. AI that earns its place in the product

LLM features, retrieval, and automation wired into flows people already use. I am more interested in removing manual work than in adding a chat box to something that did not need one.

  3. Growing Reivex without losing the craft

Building a studio where senior engineers own outcomes rather than tickets, and where the operational layer around the work is as considered as the code itself.

It turned out to be much more complex than we initially thought. He ultimately accomplished far more than expected and delivered perfect results. We will certainly collaborate with him again in the future.
